Okay, so you’re busy.
No surprise: I am busy too. And “being busy” or “not having time” are excuses we got used to.
Every day, you and I get 24 hours to do the things we want to do – so indeed, we have time. The actual question is about priorities.
I get that people don’t say, “This is less of a priority for me” or “Actually, I have more important stuff to do.” We don’t want to offend anyone.
However, that is what “I am busy” translates to.
Setting the right priorities is totally okay, and I won’t be offended. But you should know that I am adjusting my priorities as well – and I don’t have time for people that have no time for me.
I am always busy, and I always have time for you.
It’s all a matter of priorities.
Everyone’s “too busy” when you haven’t provided them value lately.

Everyone can “make time” if they think they’ll get more from you than someone they’re “too busy” for.
